Why does Google keep diversifying? It can't be all things to all people and its attempt to do so is making it into a big, fat monolithic (dare I say evil?) corporation that will soon have its fingers in more pie than it can ever eat - like a spoiled fat child that wants more just because it has a free grubby little hand.

Google fails to fully leverage it's existing assets in a meaningful, useful way. For example, Google has been trying to get user's to flock to the Google Plus social network. The answer is simple. Give users a reason to join and stay on Google Plus instead of serving up the same old functions. Google could take Street View to a whole new level and tie in to places like memorial parks. (We all have someone who has passed). Allow posts, photos, validated commenting and more. Use to find relatives all over the U.S. This would truly be a Facebook killer. But Google seems to be more interested in used cars and Borg-style sun glasses.

Because they are a "me too" company, they follow what is hot and usually late to the party and the product sucks. look at Android, worst OS in history (period) , all rushed to market and given away mostly for free to gain marketshare. Kind of like what MS did with Internet Explorer to take down Netscape. Gmail is a copy of yahoo mail, and all other email providers be for it, Android a copy of iPhone, Google+ a copy of Facebook, the list goes on with the products and services. Google is a sad pathetic company. They have certainly surpassed Microsoft at being "evil" and mainly like I said, a "me too" company.
