Help
For no apparent reason, I'm steadily losing Hard Drive free space. Can the Windows updates (set on automatic) cause this? Is it safe to turn them off?

Hi, depending on how you have it set up. it could be the system restore eating up disk space. I recently had the same issue and it turned out to be FRAPS. I had a 1TB Hdd and suddenly found myself with only 37 Gb of free space. You can find out by opening up the Hdd and checking to see what files are using so much space.

Use windirstat to look at what folders are taking up space.

Do not turn off windoze update.
Download the free version of ccleaner it will remove allot of temp and other junk files.
What size hard drive do you have?
