"I think there is a world market for about five computers." Thomas J Watson and why not "640K ought to be enough for anybody." Bill Gates ; I can't argue that this 3 technologies will be mass used in their current form but I can argue that V.R, A.R. and flying cars will surely be part of our society in the next 10-20 years

Technology can be so silly sometimes. I take issue with the assertion that people won't buy something because they will look insane or look like they're talking to themselves. Look around. Too late.

I love being able to use my eyes to control a device. That way when I roll my eyes it knows to back me out of what ever junk I stumbled upon.

"Who wants jewelry designed by Google?". That is your argument?

Flying cars will never be a reality for the simple reason wherever you would want to use one, is already over crowded. If you wanted to use one to get from down town Chicago to any suburb would be near impossible. You might be able to fly in in the "burbs", but not in Chicago or the flight paths of any of the commercial airports.

For the Google glasses, the paradigm shift is still playing out. It is anyone's guess where we will end up. A pocket computer/phone/camera hooked to ear buds/implants and some sort of eye glasses is not too extreme an idea.

Virtual reality can have several applications already. Flying drone aircraft is already being done. Micro surgery is one application where tools could be even smaller than currently used. It is just a matter of making these work as envisioned or in some similar form. If we can find applications, we will find a way to do it.

Not only does a flying car appear in the headlines every decade, with a "this time it's for real!" subhead, but it always looks to be the same damn car, every time.

Wow..I always knew PC World was biased with some very untouched with reality somewhat opinionated writers but WOW...I would agree with the first unless I had the money, pilot license and loved planes or felt like buying one for S&G but the other than that..Google glasses? LMAO..You are obviously lost in touch. Do you know how many people are waiting for these already? Women wear shoes and dresses that are sizes smaller and uncomfortable to be fashionable. Yes it might not work flawlessly (just like SIRI)but I'm sure it will work WELL and be very useful to most, so why you are having a lonesome convo with your phone most people will be walking or driving to their destination and meeting people about life not about their phone. I do believe Google as well as Oakley, who by the way has follow suit, will do very well. Hating is ugly, learn to live without it man.
