These glasses are so 20th century! Been there. Done that.

sure I'll wear this glass
I don't know why you didn't like the idea!!
I'm not thinking of it as collecting information about me and displaying ads, because these things already exist !!

I'm thinking of it as great way to display such communication tools

of course the shape needs some adjustment, but anyway it's great idea

Honestly, if these come out this year at a reasonable price and at a reasonable screen resolution, I may forgo buying a tablet in favor of the Glass (assuming it will work with my prescription glasses).
Next step: contact lens screens.

That's exactly what I've been thinking about this. I have to say, that second youtube video looks pretty realistic. At heart, google IS an advertising company, no matter how much we like to forget that.

Apparently there's a lot of folks that think "I'm already being spied on, might as well let them do it some more". Well sheeple, this is exactly why it's still happening, because of all the apathetic sheeple.
I don't use any GoOgle products whatsoever. I don't like being spied on, I especially don't like them making profit by selling my data to other marketers.

So why are you on the computer then? You think it's only Google that does this? You just being on the computer is leaking everything about you to the internet. If your using a browser and everywhere you've been knows about you. People like you make me sick when you think privacy is compromised. You would have to live in a cave not to be known about in this day and age. By the way, most web pages you surf to, well Google has you already and you didn't have to use them. Like you said they own advertising. They own Adsensce. They own the web. They already know who you are!

Yes, I would wear these if they came out. Think about it. Is it going to hinder you or help you? I for one think it will help.

Lets not forget that banks and credit card companies also sell your personal data to advertisers. Virtually ANYTHING nowadays that has an EULA also does. Your ISP, OS, Anti-virus program, even the DMV and Social Security will either sell or just give away personal data upon request.
Personal privacy in the information age is a lie. Get used to it.
Even IF (in the highly unlikely event) the government would enact laws that attempted to protect user privacy, information could and would still be garnered, gathered, tabulated and used to sell you crap you most likely wouldn't want anyway.
