Who will believe in the crap you said. The phone has Tango video call + Skype beta. It will get better in the coming upgrades. Who needs instagram, angry birds, etc? There are better alternatives in the marketplace. Aren't you tired of this foolishness about apps already? Windows phone apps are growing rapidly.

Hmm Skype BETA, *WHO* is gonna use that on the Lumia 900 ??? have you read the problems with it ? FIRSTLY it DOESNT WORK AT ALL unless it is constantly in focus, meaning you can do nothing else with the phone...........

If you did use it, then you have to overcome DOZENS of problems such as: Problem "Can't add contacts to skype" - Solution "Add contacts on another device" - yep you have to use another phone to add contacts

Problem "There is no in call progress indicator" - Workaround "If you navigate to another place in the Skype app, return to the *recent* pivot, find the person with which you're currently talking to, open that conversation, and swipe to the live call pivot."........whatever that pile of drivel means....

Problem "Skype may crash when navigating to a contact immediately after completing a video call to that contact." - Workaround "none".....

Don't believe me ? go check out the above on Skype's official site.

Like I said *WHO* is gonna bother with that crap...and Nokia calls other phones BETA....................

most will not. the user experience is so good, that most will find alternatives to some of the apps you mentioned. I have been using HTC radar for about three months now, and I won't move to any OS again. I absolutely love Win phone Mango

You mean to tell me there are FLAWS? That it's not perfect? Wow, I am in shock! They should just go out and buy an Android, because they are perfect. Except for that whole fragmentation thing. And that whole UI - responsiveness issue. The fact is, every platform has its flaws.

I have been a loyal Microsoft customer for years but this September I'm going with Android. The useful apps ie(metro bus locate) are only available for iPhone and Android

I don't use a smart phone, so to me these look like well priced phones that do what you need. From the comments, some people will find a reason to slam everything that is not in line with the way they view the world. I had a nokia many years ago and it was a great phone....you know made phone calls well......
Just my opinion......YMMV......

Android is the most fragmented unresponsive piece of crap I've ever put my hands on. Even if one starts out ok, within a couple months its bugged to ****

That's right. Microsoft is now paying developers to write for their platform because their portfolio is, well, lacking. This after a full year of Windows Phone. Maybe now that they are getting paid to write apps the portfolio will grow. And it *is* all about the apps.
