One of the Reasons i don't socialize with any of the Social Networks Like Face Book, and one of the reasons i like the Do Not Track software.
There are many types of this software out there like No Script and others.
But you need to know what you can live without to, as shutting some of them down can leave some Sites literally unusable.
Though you can turn that functionality back on by enabling it in the program or app you choose.

Heh, being trackable is the reason I rooted my Android phone, deleted the built-in Google key-logger, and keep my built-in GPS turned OFF. Nobody needs to see what I do - when, where, or why.

This is the most simple issue on the net. Look, we can either agree to a certain amount of tracking and advertising since this keeps the internet free; or we can pay per visit, per site, per transaction, and per click. Nothing in life is free. Lastly, remember no in Google, Microsoft, Apple, or the government really gives a c@@p what sites you are looking at unless you are a pedophile or looking to blow something up; if you are doing the latter I hope they get you and put a needle in your arm.
