I've seen similar ideas in my 40+ years in the workforce. All of the others have offered just the incentive of "percent of money saved." This is the first time I've seen payment for failed ideas. This makes me wonder if it's a flat rate payment - the same for failure or success. If so, it suggests that successful ideas don't pay all that well.
