Although you've listed some good options for the poll, you really should consider the CPU HSFs from Noctua. They're a notch higher in terms of cooling.

You should really add a few more in the list to choose from. There are plenty of good CPU coolers in the market actually.Noctua,Arctic, thermalright and thermaltake.

I can always add coolers, but then it makes for more decisions. Haha. I did start with two, then someone added the Gelid. I do keep getting suggestions which I appreciate. I'm still looking into what to get. I'm going to make a decision next week. If you have any information on which is better and why, go ahead and post it. I will take all suggestions. I have a full tower case, dimensions: 22.8" x 9.4" x 21.9". Thought this case was smaller at the time of purchase, but still love it.

Hi. I started with the Zalman CNPS 10x Performa and it did fine, but was over one of my memory slots, so I went with the Gelid ( I was the one who added it to your list :D :P ). It is a tad smaller and doesn't hang over the slot, but cools equally as well if not a tad better, so I am happy with it.

You mean thermal paste? Arctic Silver 5 is well recommended.

Yeah, I use Arctic Silver 5 as do a lot of folks. I got something called GC 2 with my Gelid cooler, which is sitting up here on the shelf unused.

I did mean thermal paste, had a brain fart when posting and adhesive just seemed right. I found this one on Newegg, http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835100007.

Coastie is this the Gelid you used: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16835426023?

Sometimes people just need help narrowing down the choices. You don't need 50 coolers for one machine.
