Wow, Maingear charges a lot for their PC's. Don't get me wrong it looks nice and all, but I just configured the exact computer from IronsideComputers.com (minus the case), and it was nearly $3,000 cheaper. For $3,000 they can keep their case.

Building a PC like that would cost around $2800 ! It's crazy how much they charge you !!

A lot of negativity here. But you are buying a lot more than a box with a fancy case. Check out my blog post http://sciencespring...oinc-crunchers/

No, that pretty much sums up exactly what you are getting. Off the shelf parts, fancy box, and someone taking the fun out of overclocking. All for $8,000.
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov

Insanely expensive. It should come with 3 monitors for that price. But I love the fact that they give you windows on disc. You have no idea how useful that is.
