I don't even know if you can consider these apps "augmented reality."

A GPS and compass are not an "augmented reality."

All augmented reality is, is text or images superimposed over the image of whatever's in front of you. It's a pretty broad definition. After all, it just means augmenting reality. That's almost anything.

Google's glasses don't do anything more. Though I'll bet that if they ever make it to market, we'll see Ads from them along with whatever useful things pop up.

Confirmed more apps on iPhone than in iPad so bad. Compass likes me!

The term "augmented reality" is an oxymoron -- which is why only morons use it. Personally, I prefer the term "Pre-Borg Device".

If you don't like it, say so. It isn't necessary to use sarcasm. It's counter productive. Some people may enjoy these apps, and don't need to be told they are morons for doing so.

If done right it could actually be quite useful in the Real Estate industry.

WHAT!? So neat. I hope the sky is clear tonight. This is one app that doesn't keep you in doors! I feel like a kid right now, I'm so excited. Thinking about dragging people out for a nerdy little star party!
