So that's how ultrabooks drop to $699 or less. They were talking about the old models.

I'm anxious to buy a dell xps that has Intel's Ivy Bridge 3D Chip and windows 8.

Why would you want to trouble a powerful PC with a buggy windows 8. Give 8 a year or three. Or better yet, buy a MBA. (yes that stands for Mac Book Air), Its what windows and google has been trying to copy since they stole Apple's ideaz.

BTW, Not trying to be objective. I enjoy Linux, Windos, and OS X, as I use them all for different reasons...
