Recently I downloaded #inSSDer 2.1 by http://www.metageek.net/ ( not an advertisement or endowment just a reference point for readers)
In the program it asked, or seemed to ask for usage of my GPS in my Asus G51vx laptop.
As you can about figure I have had my laptop for a couple years and never knew I had a GPS inside my siystem, if it is there at all.
So the question is as follows:
1. Does my Asus G51vx indeed have a GPS sensor inside?
2. If the answer to #1 is yes then how do I turn it on and off?
PS.
I bought my G51VX not so much for its gaming ability but to last about 10 years worth of usage. By then who knows what will be on the market.

This is the only ASUS lappy I found with GPS... http://usa.asus.com/...nsformer_TF101/ .
The specs on your lappy don't say anything about on-board GPS.
Hope this helps!
