Why pay $25? You can use any of the FREE remote desktop apps avail on iTunes basically. However the RDP app is the best one I used so far.

So, what does the $25 app do for me? Like Quadicon said, can't I just do this with an RDP app? And, if this $25 RDPish app works for Win8, can I used it like any other RDP and run something else? I don't see the real value in this one.

Difference between this app and RDP is that you can use native touch gestures for Win8 Metro UI

This is an amazing throwback! For the ancient among us, this is like using Windows 1.0 or 2.0 on top of MS-DOS. The programs ran, unwindowed, but did nothing. Many of us tried to mouse around and play with it, then the program would crash. Therefore, we decided that it was a gimmick and returned (for many years) to MS-DOS, simply because it worked. Dangerous game to put unfinished and non-working Metro apps on a finished and working (if limited) platform. Sadly, as Metro apps limp along, doing little, it will make the iOS look that much better. What goes around...does this mean that tablet users are waiting for a tablet equivalent of Win386 before the platform approaches becoming a functional tool for work? Strange days.
