I think of twitter spammers as people who sit in conferences and tweet the topic sentence of each paragraph of each speaker's presentation. I find that extremely annoying, and I would like to point a few of my friends to an article that suggests they not behave that way. :-)

Every time I get an ad on my Twitter feed, I shut the follower down. Twitter isn't for advertising. If you want to advertise, use Facebook, even though that isn't its purpose
