The key thing for security is ensuring that the device can be wiped remotely; that the email and contacts can be cleared too.
All of which can be done BETTER on an iPhone and Android devices than on the clunky useless lump of junk that is BlackBerry.

Really? Most compromised devices remain in the hands of the original users. That's the most dangerous type of hacking, when you lost control and access and don't know it.

the comparison should also include ICS4 the new version of Android, because any and almost all new android phone will be having ics from now onwards. also most of the premium phones launched in the last 1 year will also get ics very soon.
i am sure ICS will have a big difference in terms of security.
Suggest the Author to add the ICS also to have a correct picture of the situation.
Cheers

For the foreseeable future, as many, or more new phones will be released with 2.3x than with 4. Until all new phones will have 4, or newer, security will be poor.

not really sure how sending your company's proprietary information through a 3rd party proxy subject to government warrants can be considered more secure. Sounds like a paid RIM patsy did this "analysis"

yes but the huge overwhelming majority of android phones will never get ICS and will be in use for years to come. Just more evidence that Fragdroids help no one but the carriers and ODMs.
