Downloading Pictures From Tumblr

I have a friend who thinks cuz i know a lot about computers i would know about tumblr he is trying to download 3yrs worth of pictures from a page and he cant figure it out and neither can i he googled it and he got a lot of crap ware but nothing useful it will download some but not all of the pictures he wants can any one suggest some help here he wont get off my back until i get him an answer
