Har! I still use a desktop rotary phone - it sits next to my bed. My Nielsen Homescan Bar-code scanner will not work with any other phone in the house, so when I send in my weekly shopping scan data, it's Ma Bells kit that does the job. Also, as it is hard-wired, during our area's interminable winter storm power outages - guess who still will have phone service and not be forced to power up the phone in the car? Love that old kit.. and the vinyl LP's, on a proper turntable, not one of those craptastic, plastic consoles - DO have a better audio-fidelity - not noise reduction, mind you - than a CD. Fun stuff.

Probably the one I recall most clearly is the CB radio because my parents were really into it in the 80s. Used an Apple IIe a few times, but not the original Apple II. Have also used the rotary phone a time or two. Mom still has a record player, but a newer one.
The prices make me go "holy crap, inflation is that bad?" lol
