When I send a document to the printer, only the last page prints unless i print one page at a time, using print 1 of 1 , 2 of 2 , etc.

I have found the solution on web boards that i need to reinstall the printer driver. When i do so, it works once or twice correctly spooling the document to the printer, and after that i am again getting one page only out (last page ) of a document.

This reply will not be much help, but here goes...

This is a common problem with printers. It doesn't seem to matter what model printer or which version of Windows is being used (digression: I didn't notice any 'Brother' brand as having this problem when I was searching). All I can suggest is:

1. A complete uninstall of all related printer software that you got with the printer.

2. Run a Registry cleaner to remove any orphaned Registry entries that may pertain to the removed printer software. (CCleaner is a good free Registry cleaner found here ... http://www.piriform....leaner/download ).

3. Set up the printer to run on-the-wire, if possible. I don't really trust wireless when trying to troubleshoot.

4. Re-install the printer software suite, DL and install any software updates, and hope for the best.

Hope this helps.

If you go to the printer properties, advanced, does it say it's set to spool print documents and start printing immediately (which it should) or does it say to print directly?

When i check the printer properties, the correct settings noted in the suggestions are check, i did not need to change them.
I reinstalled the printer yesterday and for the last 5 prints it works fine, but i have no confidence this will remain the case.

Thanks to all who are answering and suggesting corrections. This has been a really frustrating problem.
