Should I Scan An External Drive For Malware?

unless the external drive has software on it, i wouldn't bother scanning for malware on it.

most malwares like infiltrate and reside on the system drive.

but other types of malware, like those residing as email attachments, can reside on external drives if you moved the email boxes to it.
