I had an HTC EVO 4G as my last phone before I switched to a 4S. The screen was 4" and I honestly felt that was on the large side. I can say that 4.6" will be a huge turnoff to me. I want my phone in my pocket, not in its' own laptop bag :/
I was late to the iPhone party and even talked a lot of smack about Apple devices. I am still a Windows PC user and don't plan on switching, but as far as mobile platforms go, well, iOS kills Android, hands down. I have run every Android version from 1.6 up till 4.03 on my Asus Eee Pad. I am still yet to be impressed.

Wow, I run a phone with a 4.3" screen and days of battery life.
It's lightweight and it fits in my pocket easily! 4.6" might be pushing it though, but overall design, hardware, battery life, and experience are key factors. I choose android, and I'm getting a much better experience than those iphones.
Friend's iphone died today... he was asking about all the options today. I said, "you should just buy an iphone". He was like that screen is way too small! He bought a razr maxx today and couldn't be happier... he's also going to love the extreme battery life!

Ok... Ill let you know now that in October you can have the iphone with those specs.
Until then you can get well upwards of 10-15 mbps... The iPhone 4S goes well into the 4G range since Apple Insider already pointed out how 80 percent of all LTE is in the 15mbps range...

LTE is not true 4g, 4g specs start at 100Mbps, no phone is even close to this. yes LTE is faster than 3g initial specs, but LTE is still in 3g speeds, 3g+ if you buy marketing hype. but 4g it ain't

76Mb on my LTE VZW phone... remember that's a theoretical number (100), which is certainly nearly attained. But when you have thousands of people on the same tower, you are going to get less.
I don't know what to do with 76Mb on my VZW REAL 4G LTE phone! hah
