Just wanted to say hello, as I'm obviously the new guy on the block. Glad to be here. :D

I run Win7 x64 on a desktop and a laptop and also have a couple XP desktops as well.

Hi frapper and welcome to the forums. Got two Desktops and Three laptops around here. One laptop was my Brother-in Law's. He brought it over and it needs a motherboard, so he conveniently left it here and said it's yours, so I ordered a motherboard for it. Nice HP 17.3" job too. Gave my XP desktop to my Sister.

It's nice when relatives or friends hand over hardware thinking it's ruined. But we know better. B)

Yeah, but didn't necessarily need another computer. I don't really look forward to tearing into that thing though as i have been in there once and it was a nightmare. I think I may need to order and new fan / heatsink for that thing, because I checked that and the fan appeared to be stopping. Funny thing though it was posting and the Hdd kicked in and was loading stuff, so there didn't appear to be a CPU thermal issue in that it didn't shut down. [shrug]
