In the May 2012 issue, in the column titled Simply Business, Rick Broida suggests using Kingsoft Office Suite 2012. However, I am wondering if anyone else has second thoughts about using this software after going to their website and seeing all the grammatical errors. I know they are in Hong Kong but in this digital world-wide age and they are wanting to appeal to an American market, it seems as if they would have had someone check their site for grammar.

I've never heard of Kingsoft. Personally, I would go for Openoffice before considering kingsoft.

I haven't read Rick's article or tried this program, but I wouldn't pass up a good program at a good price because of bad translation on the web site.

I have tried Kingssoft software and it works pretty well, except for the Presentation software. After I made a presentation, added background sound, etc., I saved it in .ppt format to be compatible with Microsoft Power Point. When I ran it on Power Point, there was no sound. Has anyelse had this problem and if so, how was it solved? I emailed Kingsoft about this and the person that I talked with said to send her the presentation clip and the sound clip which I did. They had the same problem that I did. She sent it to R&D. I hope I get a solution to this.
