Will someone please tell me how to make two monitors show the same thing by pressing something on the keyboard on Ubuntu. My monitor on my laptop is dead but I'm use my Vizio 32inch TV via RGA. So I need a computation of keys to make my desktop only show up on one screen?
I do know Windows says Windows sign+P

Most Laptops have a hotkey assignment that toggles the video output. Look for a little icon or text in alternate colors on one of the keys that will either say something like CRT/LCD or have a picture that will look like a little monitor. Usually pressing this key along with the Fn key will toggle the output.

This is actually part of the BIOS of the hardware and is OS-independent. If you post the exact make, model and revision of your device it should be simple to look it up online. HTH
