The fact you recommended CIS which is only good as a firewall means you need to do more research before telling the editor they're wrong. You also have no business recommending products unless you like people getting a better chance of malware.

wasted a lot of time on crashplan, before i realized that it not free. Only a free trial. wish you would not include free trials with free downloads.

Gotta say I was disappointed in the article, which (as stated by Fatesrider) is apparently all apps and no programs for actual computers. >sigh< I guess that's just the way the wind is blowing.

I downloaded Trapster onto my Blackberry Bold. It doesn't work. Went to Trapster site and discovered dozens of identical angry posts from disgruntled customers. I don't understand why PC World gave such a review to such poor software, and promote it as "BEST." Hmmm, maybe Trapster made a "donation" to PC World???

I think they were payed to post some of these apps. Any app that pays for ads is usually junk. Lookout is crap. It fubared my GFS phone and it was rather easy to break into it. Somehow I got the browser to open(I think it was under help) and downloaded root uninstaller. Ran that, uninstalled lookout and all was fine.

Why is it that just because of the high demand for handheld "apps" there is nothing for desktop users anymore? Desktops & All-In-One PCs still have more overallpower, and are the heart&soul of how computers got their popularity, right from the start.
