There is still one type of threat not listed here that (IMO) is far more prevalent and destructive than anyone realizes: The "Insider" who hacks company networks for information that they then sell to CyberCriminals. I have seen far too many accounts hijacked using passwords that were much more likely to be leaked than cracked.

I'd have to agree with you on that. One employee/contractor with a flash drive could steal a lot of information.

There's no protecting against being stabbed in the back.

Of course, retelling rumors or sharing information about your company can be just as damaging, without any computer access or malice at all. Loose lips sink ships.
