Master Hd Error But Smart & Wd Tools Ok?

I'm having this error from time to time while booting from Windows 7 65 Ultimate:
"Master HD Error press f1 to continue".
I simply reboot and Windows starts correctly and all my drives works fine.If i choose F1 then the drive 5 is missing.
I have 5 Hard drives all SATA 250,250 and the rest 500 GB (Western Digital).
Everything has been fine since a couple of years and now i´m having this issue.
I tried the SMART on on BIOS and shows that the drive 5 (which is the one that is generating this problem) works fine.
I downloaded the WD tools and they show no problems at all.
My MSI MOBO (P45 NEO) is updated by MSI live.
Any advice to solve this issue?
Core 2 Quad 6600
RAM 8GB Kingston
MSI P 45 Neo (Bios and drivers updated)
5 HDs WD
Windows 7 Ultimate 64.
TIA

Download speedfan, go to the smart tab, and click on the online analysis button. Does it say anything about the spin-up time?
Finally, are you sure that the cables connected to the hard drive are snug?

This happens the first time i turn it on.
Then if i reboot the PC using the reset button, everything works fine...
Ok the Speedfan depth online analysis says:
Spin up time:Good
Overall fitness and performance is 95%
Maybe i need to buy a new sata cable?
Could it be some driver?
I'm updating with MSI live, what about if i install older mobo disk drivers.
Never had this issue before i used MSI Live update.
Kind Regards

When i receive the "master disk error" in Bios the faulty HD is 5.
In Speedfan the HD is named 0 instead 5...
Does this have anything to do with my problem or nothing at all.
Thanks again.

If there is a restoer point before you started the updates, try going back to that and see if the problem persists.

In fact i checked all five HD 1,2,3,4,and 0 (which seems to be 5)All fine.
"Coastie, this sounds like something at the bios level, not the OS level, so that won't make a difference."
I have all HD settings in Auto,SMART Enabled.
I have disabled recommended settings for DAW,like EIST,PCI IDE Busmaster, etc.
Gonna check latter my BIOS and will be more specific.
Thanks

Today the Pc started twice without a problem.
I checked the cables, which seems all fine, not twisted and tight.
Nevertheless as soon as possible i´ll replace the HD 5 cable just in case.
