Not good enough. I would require encryption of my data to/from the cloud, and while residing on the cloud. Moreover, I would require a log of every time my data I'd decrypted.
Personally, I don't care if Google uses my data as stated in its policy, but if it shares my data with some snot nosed 16 year old super genius at Cal, Berkelly, I'll have the ass of the Senior Engineer, who signed for the decryption.

Here's my suggestion: Be afraid, be very afraid, of all this online nonsense. Stay away from "Clouds", stay away from Facebook (especially Facebook), stay away from Twitter and any other online "service" that wants to store your "stuff".
There is already a boatload of cradle to grave info about you stored online. Don't put more out there.
