I'm trying to run a program that the developer says is done in Delphi XE2 a firemoney application (whatever that is). Program is called Keyword Researcher. It doesn't install, it's a one file kind of program.

When I run the program, the program window comes up but it's completely transparent. I can see the desktop inside the program window. I can click on the part of the windows I know has a link to a site, and it works, I just can't see what's inside the window.

The developer tells me its a compiler issue, nothing to do with the program (if I understood correctly).

It runs in vmware just fine and on my laptop, but not on my desktop.

I've updated the drivers for the video card, tried running it compatibility mode, disabling visual themes, etc.

Any ideas what else I could try?

Thanks,

TB

Hi and welcome to the forums. I don't know OS you are running on the laptop and desktop. If Vista or Windows 7 on either, it could be an Aero Glass thing, which can be turned off.

My apology, I should have put more info the original post. Yes, I thought it was an aero problem, already tried a different theme.

I'm running Windows 7 x64 non-sp1.

Hey Charlie,
I had the same problem, everytime I tried to upload something in Pinterest. The page was so transparent, I can see through it. I'm glad I came across this post. I've disabled the "Aero Glass Thingy"...lol...Thanks so much!

Hey Karen, That may or may not take care of the problem and was just something I threw out there, to try. :P
