No, its like saying my toaster is better because it makes more toast, is cheaper than your toaster, and lets me make toast remotely from work (who wouldn't want toast waiting for them when they got home?)

It doesn't support Windows XP

The 25 gigs for free is a little misleading. That offer is only for PRE-existing SkyDrive users, like myself, otherwise it's 7 gigs for free, which is darn good.
Microsoft and their plans are appealing to the consumer while it looks like Google is trying to appeal to enterprise.

If appealing to enterprise is Google's intention, then they aren't doing too well.
Just read the Google Drive Terms of Service.

No easy way to say this but you're obviously a BIG Google fan and can't accept that there are far better products out there!

Google fanboys should be drunk on anger right now.

XP is 11 years old! It's bug ridden and Microsoft will stop all support (except activation) in 2014. Why would they make software which is compatible when users of XP need to move to a more modern, stable and secure OS.

Perhaps, but that's not what you said. You said SkyDrive was irrelevant because it doesn't support XP.
I respect your decision to use a 12 year old OS, that's your choice, but there are millions more that have chosen something different. SkyDrive is available to many of them thus, I would conclude, very relevant indeed.

I should have said SkyDrive is irrelevant to me and millions of others....
A side note, I'm not at choice about the Windows OS that I use. It's ironic that the SkyDrive apps run great on my Mac and iOS devices but MS doesn't want me to run it on XP.

The thing to notice here is it works on NEWER Mac devices. It does not support OS X 10.1 (PUMA), which happens to be just as old as XP..... Sure there are a bit of XP users, but Windows 7 & Windows Vista Market share combined is larger than that of XP's diminishing user-base.
