Hi all,

need to get a second External Hard Drive,

to use for storing images of my W.7 Lenovo Laptop.

My current one is a Seagate, which i'm happy with,

however lately they have been having problems(lots of customer complaints) from what i hear.

Anyone could recommend a 500GB one, that they have used

and are happy with it's reliability and performance?

Which brand and any particular model?

Thank you

I recommend the WD Elements drives (I have a 2TB desktop one, and my dad has 2 1TB laptop drives).

Yep, Western Digital. I'm not sure what speed they are (the Elements drives have WD Caviar Green drives inside), but I think it's 5900RPM. It's not a big deal. (note: the elements drives are only USB 2.0, so you might want to get one of the higher-end WD external drives if your PC has USB 3.0)
