Should You Worry About Google Drive Privacy?

and again, the ONLY way content stays yours is if you keep it on youw OWN computer. The same applies to accessing that content. What happens to the data contained on "Sams Stereo and Data Storage Store" when it sells out , replaces or sells its servers?

Sounds like you, the writer, saw the wording of the terms...called them...and then they song and danced ya.
What would cause them to change their minds?
If you delete your files are they really gone or still there and under their complete control?
Sure..they say you own it..then they say they own it....I guess everyone owns it. lol.
Shouldn't it say, unless you agree in no uncertain terms, the data you store will and cannot be seen by anyone ever forever..and if it is we will pay you one billion dollars. Just to show they mean it.
Yes I know, they couldn't risk that type of promise and still supply a possibly very useful service. Lot's of scammers out and about, but still sure sounds like they leave a few back doors open for themselves.
The writer said "nothing to see here folks, move along"
I think there is something to see here. I just can't define it. Pain in the ass being an end-user.

Google needs to do two things right away
- Fire the manager who approved the terms and conditions of the product
- Stop peeking into people's lives
With regards to this article, the author is just believing what Google told him - I would prefer to interpret the T&C myself rather than simply believing the person/company who wrote - why would they ever admit their intentions. If Google had no ill-intent, they wouldn't had such a ridiculous T&C. I have lost faith in Google and so have several others.
