what? i thought SPDY was enabled from FF11.I guess i should have read the fine print!

Maybe I'm mistaken, but the 'tabs on demand' feature sounds exactly like a feature that's already included in recent stable versions of Firefox. I've been using it for some time now. It's not activated by default, so maybe that's what they plan to do with version 13.
If you look in the 'general' tab in Firefox Options/ Preferences, you'll see there's already a checkbox with the option "Don't load tabs until selected". You just need to tick it to activate the feature.

Firefox 13 doesn't really getting faster.. but it went slower.. i'm disappointed!!
