145" @ 60ppi... impressive, but its large enough to qualify as a theater screen... I'm guessing they are marketing it to the uber rich or companies that feel the need for a wall-sized TV screen.

Regular-sized TVs emit huge amounts of toxic fumes, especially when new out of the box. Circuit board coatings, fire retardents, enamels, glues, resins, and more. This monster would probably choke out your entire family. Not kidding.

how much energy does this thing use for 1 hour of use compaired to a standard big screen (whats standard now 50"?)

I got 3 of these hooked up in Crossfire for my new theater game room when I won the Mega-millions..freakin' sweet...Now Justin Bieber saw mine and want one tooo...LOL :D
