What matters is whether YOU had any problems with wix.com and not bad reviews. People will complain, that's how it is. And type in online free website builders drag and drop in Google, test it and take your pick.

Usually web hosting sites like Go-daddy, etc include software to build your own websites free with hosting. However, learning HTML isn't as difficult as you may think and there are some very good programs like Dreamweaver and Coffee Cup which makes HTML even easier - moreover, beginner HTML books can be found at your local library. I say this because learning HTML is a critical asset.

A website builder program is user friendly and takes all the need for HTML, script and other programming knowledge out of web page building. A website builder makes web page building easy and can often be done by someone with very little experience in just a few hours.
