Better than android? I have a new windows HTC phone I've been testing and it's terrible. Plus, customers just don't buy them. Steve lies, it's not even close to being better.
It's like saying PC is better than Mac, just false.

Steve actually likes the Apple phone. This is a huge marketing coupe for Apple. I'll bet no one else at Apple prefers it.

HUNGRY.
Microsoft and Nokia are HUNGRY to make a great product and experience.
Something APPLE really needs to watch carefully lest their $100B in the bank makes them as lazy as the mobile sales guys.

windows phone is the best mobile OS avaiable. I can facebook chat with my voice and it is built right into the OS. I see tons of phones day in and day out in my IT job. Windows phone is gorgeous, but just like other platforms, if you buy the low end model then yes, it might not seem as good. Check out the Lumia 900 - often rated above iPhone and currently in the top 5 phones list on Cnet, and the #1 device at CES 2012. eat my shorts.

The fact that your only argument that Windows Phone tops all other mobile OS's is due to Facebook Chat integration into the OS saddens me. That feature may be a good reason for you to stand your ground but my phone's OS has a built in phone and SMS feature! I don't have to worry about Facebook's privacy issues when I talk to people...

I doubt you've been testing it to any extent if you've come to that conclusion this fast. The windows phone works great for many that have tried it, and has some of the highest satisfaction ratings you'll find out there. It is not that hard to beat an Android device in useability for the average user. Most people don't need all of the bells and broken whistles that Android provides. They just want a phone that keeps them in contact with the outside world and runs a few games and has some decent apps. No way in hell is my dad gonna need access to a couple hundred thousand apps when all he needs is email, web, a simple point and shoot camera, and phone service on a device that last a day and a half to two days on a charge, and does not crash every time he wants to show a co-worker a picture of his grandson (pointing at you LG Android phones). If Android is your cup of tea. Good for you. But it is a horrible user experience for many others who do not need that depth in a phone.
The only reason people are not buying Windows phones is because providers are not pushing them. AT&T didn't start selling any Windows devices until the Nokia advertising campaign. If that was done from the start, it would be a completely different story. That and people like you badmouthing them without any knowledge on how to use them. It is not an Android phone, and will not work like one.

Microsoft Hired an Apple person? that's bs, that's like saying Samsung, HTC and everybody else Hired away to make a phone with more advanced hardware then the iPhone.
Thats also like saying googled Hired someone from apple to copy, Loads of absolute BS.
Pretty much stuck on his old Mac vs Windows days isn't he now.
never the less least he can somewhat admire other's work.

As long as Linux is installed on the PC.

Based on Windows 98 tech? Huh. Here i was thinking that they stopped selling DOS based operating systems 10 years ago. So Windows 7 is not using NT kernel and is running on DOS 7? Now the name makes sense!
ok man i understand that android is way better than windows mango but you are hell off on the second part, a windows pc has million times more potential than mac, the people who use mac either like its look or dont know crap about using windows:in other case for music and video editing.

Windows 7 is NT 6.1 to be percise. NT 6.0 was Windows Vista. NT 6.2 will be Windows 8
