This article sounds like an ad for Vonage. The truth is that Ooma is far cheaper in the long run. With Ooma, you buy the hardware up front for about $200, then it's only $4 or so per month. With Vonage, you still have to pay around $30 per month. There is a point where Ooma becomes a drop in the bucket compared to Vonage.

I have used Ooma for several years now and have been very happy with it. I have not had any trouble and the voice quality is just as good as a regular land-line system.

I would recommend Ooma in every way.

Yep,
just buy a AVM or Cisco or any other adapter (depending on the # of lines you need),
get a couple of subscriptions to the local, free and commercial providers(voipbuster, Skype business, etc).
Program them all in your device and your phone bill can be almost zero.
Skype has some advantages as every customer can call you for free from his PC (looks nice on your website)!
