Hi I live in a back house and the front house has att internet service with a wireless att modem, but the wireless signal is very weak back here so i bought a 75ft ethernet cable and ran it to my back house from att modem and connected it to a dlink router inside my place, but when I connect to the dlink wireless on my laptop or Ipad or phone the wireless is really really slow and shows little yellow triangle warning, I tried plugging my laptop into dlink wired and it works fine, Am i doing something wrong could it be something to do with ip addresses

First off, I'm assuming the att box is actually a modem/router combo. Use DHCP on that, and NOT on the dlink (set that to bridge mode I think). Second, set the dlink's SSID (broadcasted network name) to something different from the att box, and perhaps change the channel on it (don't use 6, use 1 or 11).

Not quite - let me clarify. Disable the DHCP server on the dlink, and leave it enabled on the att (you can only have ONE dhcp server for a network). Reserve an IP for the dlink in the att modem/router (for instance, if the att has 192.168.1.x IPs, choose something like 192.168.1.2, as long as no number is above 255), and then go to the dlink and set it (the router ITSELF) to use that static IP. Then, if you want, enable the wireless on the dlink (I recommend setting a WPA2-AES password on ANY wifi network). Change the wifi to channel 1 or 11 if you have problems with it, and choose a differnet SSID (broadcasted name) than the ATT router/modem. Got it?
