How long before the Today show does a feature on "Deadly germs on your toilet tablet"?

I guess I am just old school, when I go to the bathroom, I take care of business and leave. There are many places in my home I would rather spend time- reading, surfing, etc- than the toilet.

Some people are quicker about their 'business' than others. I know of people who need quite a long time to do that particular 'job'.

I wonder if 'poo gas' accumulates in electronics like cigarette smoke does?

You are aware there is an invisible cloud of mist that sprays from a flushing toilet, right? Get a colored piece of construction paper that shows water drips well, and hold it over the toilet, then flush. Wee!

Just think what kind of ick will get into and accumulate inside proposed 'super' tablets (for running Windows 8 OS, games and all) that have lots of open I/O ports and require forced air ventilation for cooling.

Just fodder for germ-phobes, really. Your tablet is probably just as filthy now as it would be in the bathroom, anyway. Eating while using it would get all kinds of bacteria food on it, and in every crevice and scratch. Keyboards are consistently reported as 'filthy' in this way, too.

Though a completely water-proof tablet with inductive charging for relaxing while soaking in the bath tub would be nice. You can put them in a ziplock back and still use touch devices (and e-book readers). They just need to be the sort that don't rely on lots of air circulation to cool them.

Hygienically speaking, it has a lot to do with the order you do things in the bathroom, than being in the bathroom. It's easy to re-contaminate your 'clean' hands if you do things in the bathroom in the wrong order.

A word on this from professional mysophobia sufferers.

Interesting...with the almost total emphasis by Microsoft and Mozilla pushing software for tablets; while abandoning their laptop and desktop markets. Maybe there is a subtle message there?
