How is it that a rig with an HT i7 is only 6% faster than one with and i5 that is by definition non-HT and only a few ghz faster. What am I missing because this sounds pretty bogus.

The CF slot will not read a 32 GB Lexar Professional 1000x CompactFlash UDMA 7 card. But, it will read non UDMA 7 cards. I tried the UDMA 7 card in an HP desktop PC using Windows 8 and the HP was able to read the card. ASUS technical support so far has not been able to help.
