Why did you not talk about Sony and Microsoft making you link games to an account. No more sharing, no more used games and the best part; no more rights of owning the game you purchased. I hope when more people learn this information, Sony and Microsoft lose their ass.

I don't know. One of the reasons massively multiplayer online games have become so huge is developers and publishers wanted regular income streams. And gamers have flocked to them. It's only a matter of time before subscriptions go from the norm to a "system requirement". Some people will leave, but I think enough will remain to make it massively profitable.

I don't have any consoles of any kind. I play only PC games. So is this system only for online games? Or games that have to be downloaded to the system?

Would it play games that are offline? Will it play Games that are already offered like at Walmart or Amazon. I'm looking for something the Grand Kids can play on. I don't care to have it go online.

How? We are already stuck getting Xbox Live Gold anyways if you play games online. There is no extra cost involved here. For most people, this would be an easy way to save money.

It sucks when Xbox first came out it was like 300 bucks when I got it. And now its 99$ with a Kinect. Same with PS3, I spent 500 on tht and now tht too is pretty cheap. I guess thts how video game systems work though

If it didn't cost you 300 a year it wouldn't be so bad

Let's put it in this perspective, $99 for the system is good but over the course of the next two years you would pay $700 because of the $15 a month "deal" its one hell of a deal for them I was doing $60 a year and that alone gets very expensive. but now for that same $60 i would only get 4 months? it's total bull, its a huge rip off in the end, look it through people. see the truth behind the lies.

What kind of weird 20 month year world do you live in? is the sky blue there too?

Aren't these ALREADY available near $99?

http://www.google.co...294&lnk=catsugg

Why yes, yes they are.

Refurbished models. But plenty good enough.

If you already own an XBOX 360, free and clear, buying the new, 'subsidized' one gets you nothing at all, besides costing $99, and a commitment to pay monthly dues.

And this is why I ended up getting a PS3, a few years back. At least I'm not double-billed for streaming netflix to the TV.
