Just give me back Outlook Express. Windows Live Mail really sucks. I don't want to be connected to Hotmail nor Windows messenger. Also, when I right click on a bunch of .jpg files, I want to send the actual files, not some link to a cloud folder.

Another poor decision made by a company with a history of such. Millennium, Vista and next Windows 8?. Go Microsoft!

Totally expected. Microsoft has a long and Despicable history of getting people subscribed and involved hugely in different services and offerings, and then totally dumping them abruptly. MSN Chat had MILLIONS of subscribers, and they shafted us all. MSN Communites....... Gone. MSN Groups Gone, Outlook Express, dumped, now they are dumping Live mail? Will existing people be able to use the latest version that they have, or is MS going to totally destroy ability to use it? What about users who presently have things in Skydrive, that are not planning to lick Steve Ballmers A S S and buy Windows 8, should we get things off of it NOW? Are we going to lose access?

Microsoft takes these actions from such a purely internally focused viewpoint that it's disgusting.

It's my hope that Windows 8 is twice the toilet OS that Vista was.

Getting rid of Windows Live Mail in Windows 8? I loved Windows Express and had to learn Windows Live. Now I have to learn Hotmail? I'm staying with Windows 7 and Live Mail as long as I can!
