What about the radio bands? will the unlocked version work with T-mobile USA faster HSPA+ Network? Or is there a possibiltie the carrier will have the quad version qiven the fact that they are still the only major carrier who hasn't deployed its LTE service.

No I think that is right. You measure a screen diagonally. So you would be looking at the hypotenuse of a triangle. It is the same way you measure your TV.

I am still happy with my S2. I still don't understand what a processor has to do with compatibility on a data network. Processors in computers don't affect my internet or bluetooth connection. Sounds like BS to me.

Well you can't make any phone call on GSM/CDMA networks with these computers, can you?

That would seriously suck if the quad core wasn't available in the US.

That's because the WiFi radio in your much larger computer is a separate component whereas with smartphones the radio is integral with the processor. Right now they don't make the right quad core-US LTE combination, which is why the One X uses the older dual core processor with the correct LTE radio.

So to me it sounds like the BS is that you couldn't bother to do a little basic research.

Do we know if the S-Beam compatible with the Android Beam on a Galaxy Nexus?

Sounds like a great phone but I have an S2 with a dual core processor and have to charge my phone twice a day, about 4-5 hours between charges just so it won't completely die on me. It's the price of having so much technology and hardware crammed in a sleek tiny package. I can't imagine how horrible the battery life on the S3 would be with a quadcore, jeez I bet it would be atrocious.

This article states "Everything you need to know". Will it be available on Verizon? That isn't mentioned here.

No I think that is a typo, although I don't know that .34 thick is correct either, you do measure the screen diagonally and is suppose to be 4.8-inch, hence the reference to "4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display"

If your phone dies in about 4-5 hours, then it may be some of your apps that are draining your battery. Normally S2 should last for a day with a minimal use. If you use the phone alot, then 4-5 hours should be reasonable. If you left it untouch and it died within 4-5 hours, then you will need to review with the apps, and check with the apps, to see how often it keep requesting for the data, etc.

Yikes, something simple got confusing in a hurry. The 3.4-inch dimension cited in the article was a typo. The phone is 0.34 inches thick -- a third of an inch. It's full dimensions are 5.17 x 2.5 x 0.34 inches; the display is 4.8 inches.
