good luck sending a smishing text to my feature phone that doesn't have internet

The simple fix to this would be to divorce Internet functionality from text messaging so that regardless of what is sent, none of it can access the Internet.

Failing that, I'm with chances14. My smartphone CAN do Internet, but I turned that feature off. Some folks like Internet on their phones. The rest of us prefer the privacy and security not having it brings.

Yep, same here. I have no internet function, Uh, how could i check on someone's number for free if i am suspicious of someone snooping on me?

"Smishing" really? I mean come on do we really need another ridiculous phrase like this floating around.
