Displayfusion Relieves Windows 8's Multi-monitor Headaches

What's the point of upgrading to Windows 8, then doing hacks and third-party installations just to get it back to working like Windows 7 does now? Why not just stick with Windows 7?
XP is still the most popularly used OS in the world at just over 40%...and it's coming up on it's 11th birthday. I feel comfortable believing that Win7 will be around for quite a while.

I do like the idea of Metro-style apps, even on the desktop, and on a single screen I don't mind the new Start menu. But I agree that there's not a very strong case for upgrading if you're a power user.
