Hi,

Anybody out there have tried to install SP1 for VISTA on basic MS Vista system but when this system is running under TEST MODE (four corners of desktop with "TEST MODE" words) ?

I'm trying to install MS OFFICE 2010 SP1 but it asks my firstly to upgrade my VISTA to VISTA SP1..... however I never done it because I felt comfortable with actual status. I needed also to switch to run my clear VISTA in test mode. And I don't want to go back and start everything from a scratch...

so if test mode disturbs in installing SP1 or no ?

Hi and welcome to the forums,
I did a little research on "test mode" (hadn't heard of it before) and it appears you won't be able to install service packs until you activate Vista.
