Acer V3 Laptop Touchpad problem

Hi All,I just bought a new Acer V3 laptop. I found that the touchpad not working after using a while. But after restart the computer,it's okay again but also just working maintain for a while.I would like to know is it the touchpad problem or it crash with other program. I hope that someone could advise on this issue. Thanks.

First, try reinstalling the driver. Second, it's possible that the ribbon cable connecting the touchpad to the motherboard is loose (note: there's quite a bit of dissassembly involved sometimes to do this, which you might not be comfortable with).

I'm assuming that external mice don't have this issue, right?

Hi Brian,I have uninstall and restart the windows to reinstall the driver but it's still same issue. The external wireless mice it's working fine. Is it mean the touchpad having problem?

It's probably a hardware issue then. Since you just bought the machine, it might be easiest to return it. (opening it up might also void the warranty)
