Hi,
How one can make Notepad of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 get saved always with Encoding UTF-8 instead of its default Encoding ANSI?
Thank you for your valued comments and instructions in advance.
Sincerely,
Danesh

This thread talks about it... http://www.warriorfo...ve-utf-8-a.html .

At the bottom they recommend Notepad++ for fixing this. Other than using a different app, the only other way is a Registry hack. But I don't know which Registry entry to hack, and probably wouldn't tell if I did, since messing with the Registry can brick your PC.

@Danesh

You Can Give A Try To A Free NOTEPAD Like Editor Called 'TED NOTEPAD'.

You Can Download It From The 'VERSIONTRACKER / DOWNLOAD / CNET' Site.

Use Mandatory CTRL(U) And CTRL(I) Before Any File Saving.

Check The STATUS BAR For The Current Settings.

Good Luck.
