Hello everyone. I'm looking for a file sync and share service, like DropBox, but one which allows me to keep control of the files I'm sharing. What I mean specifically is one that prevents the people with whom I'm sharing my files from deleting them without my permission... a kind of read-only service. Does such a service exist? Any help would be much appreciated... even a 'no'.

I think you can share a folder via dropbox with read-only access to others.

According to the Dropbox help, you use the "Get Link" function: https://www.dropbox.com/help/167

I've used that with stuff in my public folder before, for instance.

Do you want to share your files with limited users? Is that what you're trying to say?
