So, don't believe these comments praising WP. They are all BOGUS.
The fact is revealed by WP's market share and not by these JUNK guy's positive comments.
WP is derived from WM (Windows Mobile) and they had 40% market share in 2006. Their market share is declining gradually and now it is hardly 3.9% (WP=1.9% WM=2%) in the US. Outside US, the situation is still bad.
The open source Android is killing WP which a closed system and a very bad OS with bad user interface. That is why its market-share is declining day by day.
Microsoft is asking Nokia to give away Lumia 900 for FREE in order to increase WP's market share. But for how long can Nokia give them for FREE ?
Hence, WP is death bed and will be killed soon by Android.
Android is selling 1 million daily whereas WP is selling 2 million in a quarter and that too if they give away for FREE.
Wow, you are unloading LIES. Windows Phone is NOT derived from Windows Mobile. They share nothing in common except the company that produced those 2 VERY different mobile operating systems. Microsoft is asking Nokia to give phones away? If you believe that, then you believe in conspiracy theories, shadow governments, and the tooth fairy.

I'm pretty sure you already know this, but for the general audience, unless he's talking about some new promotion, you can't.

I'm afraid you're too late. Anyone that bought the Lumia 900 from AT&T prior to Apr 26 (they cost $100 at the time) got a $100 refund on their first bill. This was actually funded by Nokia to compensate for a data glitch the early phones had and has since been fixed. That's when I picked up mine and it was legit, the refund showed up on this billing cycle.

It's clear that if you're a power user go for Android, if you're a bit on the vain side, get iOS, and if you just want a simple to use Smartphone, get the WP7.

I don't doubt the numbers here...but if WP7 and its followup fail in the marketplace....it will just go to show how psychotic the market really is.
I have an old Motorola dumb cell and really enjoy it. Seems as if everyone has a Droid or Iphone almost as if they're sheep. The Iphone in particular seems very much a status symbol more than anything else.

I'm now on my second WP7 phone...and I think the platform is spectacular. The clunky iPhone seems toy-like and silly in comparison. I too have a dumb RAZR w375 that I love; it nicely sits in a holster I can pin to my lapel, or hook on my car and drive hands free. The cellphone provider, net10, stupidly programmed all the features out of it -- like, the ability to interface with my computer -- so when I use up my $800 worth of net10 minutes, I'll unlock the phone and go elsewhere.
No smart phone can do that. Most clumsy design I've ever seen, these tablet phones.

No smart phone can do what? Be handsfree? Sit in a holster? Sorry to tell you this chief, but my last 4 smart phones all could do that. That is going all the way back to Windows Mobile 5 for ya.
