I need advice. I recently bought a new HP with Blue Ray and WiFi and now need a new TV. It is only a 120 sf home and the office is connected to the Living room by a long hall, so computer and hall are about 60 ft apart. What do I need? What type of TV do I need? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi and welcome to the forums,
Is your HP a desktop or laptop? If it's a laptop the solution is easy: I would simply purchase a flat panel HD TV and connect the laptop whenever I wanted to stream Netflix or watch blu ray movies. If the HP is a desktop it gets trickier but doable, just let us know.
Desktop: Core i5 3570K w/Corsair H80 cooler - 250GB Samsung 840 SSD (boot) - 1TB Seagate Hybrid HDD (storage) - Galaxy GTX660 GC - 8GB G.Skill 1333 RAM - Antec 620W PSU - Antec Sonata III 500 case - Win8 Pro 64-bit w/WMC
Media Center: Core i3 3220 - 128GB Plextor SSD (boot) - 1TB Samsung HDD (storage) - Radeon 4350 - 8GB G.Skill 1333 RAM - Biostar ECO HD61V kit - Win7 HP 64-bit
Surface RT - Lumia 900

Thank you for the reply! It is a desk top. I just noticed my original post says my house is 120 sf, that's obviously a typo, its 1200 sf. Here is a link to the box B&H photo recommended: http://www.bhphotovi...ing_Player.html

Sony is a good brand, and that looks like it will achieve your goal. Here's a link to Newegg, a very reliable and popular "geek" site, with some other options. When shopping I like to look at the reviews to see what others think.

Thank you. I bought my computer through Newegg and have a new TV on order. I'll check these out. Again, thanks so much for taking your time to help.

Do the Media Streaming players act as a router or do I still need a router to connect my wireless computer to my wireless TV?

All the media streamers listed on Newegg have wi-fi built in, but I encourage you to research your choice carefully just to be on the safe side. We have a media center PC under our TV so I don't have personal experience with video streamers, but I have a Phillips audio streamer hooked up to our stereo system in another room. It has built-in wi-fi and it works great, no additional router needed.

You will need a wireless router to setup an overall wireless network for all your devices (computer and streaming device) to connect to. If you already has a wireless router that you use to allow your computer to connect to the Internet through WiFi, then you are all set.
